Anyway, I had a ton of amazing entries and barely managed to narrow it down to 6 couples – 3 from Edmonton and 3 from Vancouver.  There were so many touching and fun stories and gorgeous rocks, it was very difficult to select the finalists.

Please take a moment to vote for your favorite Edmonton couple and Vancouver couple, there will be a winner in each city. You can select one of each and can only vote once so make your vote count!  Voting is open until 11:59 Mountain Time (10:59 Pacific) on Sunday March 21.  Make sure to tell your friends, family, neighbors, dog, the postman, ANYONE to vote for you!  Post it to your facebook status or tweet about it…get the word out there!

OH and I nearly forgot…I promised a ‘bonus’ for posting this so late.  Each couple (not just the winners) will receive a $25 credit for every 100 votes up to 400.  That means you could earn $100 toward a session, prints, anything, just for getting votes.

Flaunt Your Rock – An Engagement Contest

LOVE is in the air! Did you recently get engaged and are beaming with pride over the shiny rock on your finger? Want to flaunt it some more? In honor of all the love going around, I am holding a contest for you engaged love birds to show off your new bling!

What do you get for flaunting that shiny new rock? The winner will receive a one hour engagement session and a $100 print credit.

The Details:

• Submit 1 photograph of your ring & 1 photograph of yourselves (please do not submit images taken by another professional photographer).

• Encourage all of your friends and family to vote for you. The ring with the most votes wins!

• Engaged couples only.

• Open to both Vancouver and Edmonton couples (there will be a winner for each city!)

All submissions must be received by midnight March 5th, 2010.

Entries will be judged by a panel of photographers who will narrow down the selection to 3 rings. The finalists will be posted on Jen Williams’ blog and the winner will be chosen via a public voting poll. Voting will occur between March 7-March 13, 2010. There are specific rules around voting that will be clarified during the voting round of the contest.

Winners will be announced on March 15th, 2010. Winning session must take place between March 22-May 1st. Winners must sign a release to allow Jen Williams to display images on blog, website, Facebook Business Page and any other print or web materials as deemed appropriate.
